The consultation
Reading face shape, hair condition and how somebody actually wears their hair, before anything is mixed or cut.
Hair Academy
We're building a hairdressing academy in Bali, taught the way we work: the craft, and the hospitality around it. Put your name down and we'll message you the moment enrolment opens.
What we'd teach
Every artist brings their own personality and creativity. What stays consistent is how we care. That shared practice is what an academy can actually pass on.
01
Reading face shape, hair condition and how somebody actually wears their hair, before anything is mixed or cut.
02
Brushing before the wash, water quality, scalp work. The step most training skips and most guests remember.
03
Keratin, repair and color work in a climate that fights all three, and a finish the guest can repeat at home.
04
Why somebody comes back, and why they tell a friend. Reading a room, handling a guest who is unhappy, and the difference between finishing a service and looking after a person.
05
What bleach, keratin and color actually do to a hair fibre, and how to tell a guest the honest answer. We don't sacrifice tomorrow's hair for today's transformation, and that is a skill, not a slogan.
06
Working clean, keeping to time, and moving between guests without either of them feeling rushed. The habits that decide whether a busy day feels calm or chaotic.
When does it start? We're not announcing a date yet. The waiting list is how you'll hear first.
What does it cost? Not set. We'll tell the list before anyone else.
Where? Bali.
Do I need experience? No. Tell us where you're starting from when you join the list, and we'll build the intake around it.
The other half
Most hair training stops at technique. But a guest who loved the cut and disliked the hour does not come back, and usually cannot tell you why. So half of this is the part nobody teaches.
Before the how and the what. A stylist who understands why the salon works the way it does makes better calls when something goes off script, and doesn't need a manager standing behind them.
The greeting, the consultation, the wash, the silences, the handover at the end. Guests remember how the hour felt long after they stop noticing the cut.
Aftercare people actually follow, honest advice about what their hair needs next, and the reason somebody books again in six weeks instead of six months.
No commitment
Leave your details and we'll tell you the moment enrolment opens. Nothing before then.
It opens with everything we need already listed. Fill it in, send it, and we'll take it from there.
Meanwhile
The best way to know whether you want to train with us is to be treated by us first.
