A fringe grows out faster than the rest of your hair and looks wrong long before anything else does. Quick, precise, and one of the few things you can walk in for.
A finished look, not just a blow-dry.
Set and structured rather than dried and left, braids included. We build the shape underneath so it survives Bali air, and it holds a form your hair would not hold on its own.
Before picking anything we need to know your face shape and your hair's condition, plus, just as importantly, whether you will realistically blow-dry this every morning. A cut that only works in the salon is not a good cut. Our stylists speak English, so the consultation is a real conversation rather than guesswork over a photograph.
Hair behaves differently here. Weight lines that sit beautifully in a dry climate can swell and lose shape in Bali. We cut with that in mind, especially on curly, wavy and thick hair. Tell us when you book if your hair is curly so we allow the right time and cut it in the right state.
A fringe grows out faster than the rest of your hair and looks wrong long before anything else does. The Fringe Cut is twenty minutes, precise, and one of the few things you can genuinely walk in for. Blunt, soft or a textured fringe: bring a photo and we will tell you what your hair texture will actually hold.
A blow-dry is your own hair, dried well. Hairdo is a shape we build and set, so it holds a form your hair would not hold on its own, braids included. Bali air undoes a soft style fast, so we put the structure in underneath first. Bring a photo of the look, and a photo of what you are wearing if you have one, because the neckline changes what actually suits.
We cut men's and women's hair in all three rooms. A ladies haircut and a mens haircut get the same principle and the same consultation, and both are finished with wash and styling like everything else on the menu. Whether you are looking for a hairdresser in Uluwatu or a hairdresser in Ubud, it is the same practice in each room.
